SSH Tunnel Software Setup

Under normal circumstances, you can connect to your phone system from your "whitelisted" network.

Just send us your static wan ip address, or ddns hostname, and we can whitelist it for you.

However, at some point you may need to connect to the web admin interface from a non-secure network, such as a coffee shop or hotel.

In those cases, you can use the SSH Tunnel software to temporarily create a secure connection.

You will need the following information from your PBX Welcome/Password email.

- root username
- root password
- server address
- ssh port address

PC/Windows Setup

1. Download the SSH Tunnel software, "Bitvise" at the link below.
https://www.bitvise.com/ssh-client-download

3. Enter the following info under the Login tab...

Host: [enter your server address... do not add "http" or anything other than the address]
Port: [enter the ssh port address]
Username: [enter the root username]
Initial method: [set to "password"]
Password: [enter the root password]

Check the box to "Store encrypted password in profile" if you want to save the password for convenience.

Destination Port: 80

Enabled: check
Listen Interface: 127.0.0.1
