How many Numbers come with my service?

Each CLONE LINE service plan includes one (1) number, and two (2) or more "Clone Lines".

You can add more numbers, or lines, in different ways, depending on your needs.


Cloud Numbers are inbound numbers (aka DIDs) that share lines and minutes with a primary number.

For more separation of lines and numbers, order separate service (minute) plans for each number.


Larger minute plans come with 4 or more Clone Lines.

Extra Clone Lines can also be added as needed.

How many numbers can I have?

You can add as many numbers, of different types, as you like.

A popular setup would be 1 Voice Number, 1 Fax Number and 1 Toll Free Number

What would I need a Cloud Number for?

Cloud Numbers (aka DIDs) are additional inbound numbers.

They share lines and minutes with your primary voice plan number.


Cloud Numbers are great for routing callers to specific extensions, ring groups, etc.

They can also be used to track specific advertising campaigns.


Having a Cloud Number in another city or state lets you project a virtual presense.


Another handy use is a low cost means of keeping old rollover numbers active.

What if there are no numbers in the Area Code I want?

In older area codes, there may not be any readily available numbers.

In these cases, choose the "overlay" area code. Large cities may have several.

Sometimes we can request a number in a "full" area code. Just ask us to check for you.

How do I know what numbers are in my "local calling area"?

Contact Us and send us your zip code, or your current local number (area code + prefix).

We can look up the local calling area, and help you choose a number.

Can I get a Toll Free Number, Fax Number, DIDs, or other extra numbers?

Yes. We offer many types of numbers, including Toll Free, Fax, DID, Remote Local Numbers, and plain old local voice numbers.

You can choose readily available "Inventory" numbers, or we can help you find special "Vanity" numbers (see below).

Can I get an "Easy to Remember" or "Vanity Number"?

Yes. We have access to "Vanity Numbers", "Repeaters", and other types of "Preferred" Numbers.

NOTE: Vanity Numbers can range from under $50, to hundreds or even thousands of dollars.
