To program any app or device, you will need your Password Summary Email, which was sent shortly after your number was activated.
You can view your Email History in the Account portal if you need to find it.
There are dozens of softphone apps available in the Android store.
Zoiper is our current favorite, since recent versions of Xlite and Bria are a bit buggy. CSIPSimple is worth considering too.
You can use any app that supports the SIP protocol. Just use the "generic SIP" settings. (If you have a voiSip cloud pbx, you can also use IAX2 protocol, which can be useful to get around picky firewalls, or non-voip friendly mobile data networks.)
There are generally only 4 required entries to complete setup... username, password, server, port. These may have slightly different names in different apps, but they are still the same 4 settings.
Username/Authname: [your 10 digit CLONE LINE number (no dashes or spaces); or your pbx extension number]
Password/Secret: [your CLONE LINE SIP device password; or your pbx extension "secret"]
Server/Domain: [any CLONE LINE SIP server, refer to your password summary page; or your pbx server address]
Port: [5060 or any CLONE LINE SIP port, refer to your password summary page; or your pbx registration port]

Open Softphone App

Add a new Account

Select "SIP" or "Generic" for the provider or type.

Enter the following fields....
Account Name : [your CLONE LINE number, no dashes or spaces]
Display as : [your CLONE LINE number]
Username : [your CLONE LINE number]
Password : [your CLONE LINE SIP device password]
Domain : [CLONE LINE SIP server ip address]
Enabled : [slide to enable]
VM Number : 123
- Make sure you are connected to a WiFi network. Softphones may not work well on mobile networks (3G, 4G, LTE, etc).
